Dr. Harnick
Dr. Harnick attended the University of Maryland where he received his dental degree. He then attended, after a successful career as a general dentist, the University of the Pacific for an additional 2 years and was awarded a Masters in the Science of Dentistry (MSD) with a specialist certificate in orthodontics. The University of the Pacific orthodontic program is well known for its treatment of young children and hence is a major influence on Dr. Harnick’s philosophy. Dr. Harnick has been certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and is also a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry. He has lectured nationally on orthodontics and Invisalign.
Dr. Harnick maintains a professional membership in the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontics, the Academy of General Dentistry, The American Orthodontic Society, the American Academy of Gnathological Orthopedics, the New Mexico Dental Association, the Albuquerque Dental Society and the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics. He is also a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Harnick was voted president of the New Mexico Association of Orthodontics for 2006-2007, 2007-2008 and was re-elected for 2008-2009.
